Griot

A history and folktale enthusiast. As someone who did not grow up with the love of reading, my mother always said, you will read what you like. Growing up with Disney, I soon wanted to know the origin of many fairytales. With my love of history and folktales, I looked for their roots and wondered why I didn't hear or see many people telling stories shared by Afro, Latinx, and Indigenous people. With this hole, I decided to take it upon myself to find and tell those stories. This desire created the Afro Tales Podcast.
